A lot of people in other countries marvel at how Americans have such super-privileged lives, and yet somehow never stop bitching about the most stupid, inane, and trivial nonsense - as if it were some real problem. They’re usually talking about stuff like this. “Micro-aggressions” and other stuff concocted to trick people into believing there’s a problem they should buy a book about, or take a class on.
(and maybe ironically, bitching about something asinine like people being told to shut up lest they “micro-agress”on somebody, while in other countries people are being murdered for writing things, perhaps keeps me in the established American tradition)
